At Artelo, we want you and your customers to know exactly what to expect with production and delivery. Most orders ship within 1–3 business days, though we list a 4-day handling time to account for quality checks and any unexpected issues. This way, we can deliver consistently while ensuring every print and frame meets our standards.

What is a production day at Artelo?

A production day is any day we actively fulfill orders. Artelo fulfills 7 days a week, with only four days off each year:

  • New Year’s Day

  • Independence Day

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Christmas Day

What is a business day at Artelo?

A business day is Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Business days start the day after an order is placed (Eastern Time). For example, if you place an order at 11:59 PM ET, the following day is counted as the first business day.

When does Artelo’s facility operate?

Artelo runs production 7 days a week from our Kentucky facility to keep orders moving quickly:

  • Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 10:30 PM ET

  • Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM ET

Do wholesale orders take longer?

  • Unframed wholesale orders: Usually within the standard 1–4 business day window.

  • Framed wholesale orders over 10 units: May require 1–2 additional business days.

What happens if there’s a quality control issue?

Every order goes through several quality checks. If an issue is found, you’ll automatically receive an email with details about the delay. If a replacement is needed, it will be prioritized in production.

What do the different order statuses mean?

  • Received – Order placed; 4-hour window for edits

  • Sent to Switch – Files processed through Artelo’s system for color management, quality checks, and printing

  • In Production – Printing or framing in progress

  • Picked – Prints matched with frames; framing begins

  • Shipped – Packaged, labeled, and awaiting carrier pickup

  • Picked Up – Carrier has collected your order; now in transit

When do carriers pick up orders?

Carriers pick up orders Monday through Friday between 2 PM and 5 PM ET, and USPS also picks up on Saturdays.

Rushed or Expedited Orders

If you need to expedite or rush the production of an order, contact our support team through your Artelo portal. In most cases, a $2.50 convenience fee will be applied for rush processing. We’ll always do our best to accommodate rush requests.
