Once you connect your Etsy store to Artelo, we import all of your active listings so you can begin managing, linking, or fulfilling them using our platform. But what happens after that? Here’s how automatic updates work and the conditions that need to be met to keep your listings synced.
How Often Are Listings Updated?
After the initial import, Artelo checks your Etsy store every 30 to 45 minutes for changes. If any listings have been updated on Etsy, such as a change in title, image, or variant, we’ll automatically refresh the listing inside Artelo. This ensures your data stays up to date without needing to reconnect or manually resync your store.
What Happens If the Store Becomes Disconnected?
If your Etsy store’s credentials expire (for example, due to token expiration or permission changes), Artelo will pause all sync activity, including listing updates. You’ll need to reconnect your store in order to resume syncing.
Conditions Required for Ongoing Updates
To avoid unnecessary strain and keep our system responsive for all users, Artelo only continues syncing Etsy listings if both of the following conditions are met:
Your account is active
You either have a valid payment method on file or your last payment attempt failed less than 30 days ago.
Your account is recently active or connected
You’ve logged into Artelo within the last 30 days, or you have at least one Etsy variant connected to a product in Artelo.
If both of these are true, we’ll keep your Etsy listings refreshed automatically.
What Does “Last Updated” Mean on the Listing Table?
The “Last Updated” date shown in the listing table reflects the date and time the listing was last updated on Etsy. This is a field that Etsy itself sets, and Artelo retrieves it during our sync process. You can use this timestamp as an indicator of when Artelo last detected and updated the listing in our system. If the listing hasn’t changed on Etsy, this date won’t change even if we’ve checked for updates.
