Military and Department of State Address Package Size Limits

Written by Daniela

Some military and Department of State addresses have package size limits that may prevent certain Artelo orders from being fulfilled.

This applies to APO, FPO, DPO, and certain Department of State addresses.

Package size limits

Artelo cannot fulfill orders that exceed the supported package size for these destinations:

Address type

Maximum supported package size

APO, FPO, and DPO addresses

29 x 29 inches

Department of State ZIP codes 20521 and 20189

27 x 14 inches

What happens if an order exceeds the limit?

If one or more of your orders exceed the package size limit for the destination address, the affected orders cannot be fulfilled and will be canceled.

You will receive an email notification if this applies to your order.

What should I do?

Please go to your Action Required tab on the Orders Page to review the affected orders.

From there, you can see which orders are impacted and take any available next steps.

Why does this happen?

Military and Department of State addresses have stricter package size restrictions than standard domestic addresses. If an order is too large for the destination, Artelo cannot ship it via the supported carrier.
