In this article, we’ll walk you through creating products that link to your existing listings on Shopify or Etsy. This method allows you to integrate new products with listings you already have in your store.
Connecting Listings from the "My Products" Page
Create a Product Set: If you don’t have a product that’s ready to use, start by clicking “create product set” in the top right corner, which will prompt you to create another product set from a template.
Product List Overview: Find your completed product on the “My Products” page.
Connect to Existing Listing: On the right of the product, click “connect to”—existing listing if you have a listing on Etsy or Shopify that you want to connect. Search your store’s listings by title.
Match Variants: Choose which variants within your store’s listings match your new product set. If you want to ignore a product that Artelo shouldn’t fulfill, press the red “ignore” button. If you want to add a new size or variant you didn't previously have, click the green “add” button to create a new variant.
Edit Listing Images: Edit the listing’s images if needed.
Preview and Edit: Preview your store listing, add a shipping profile, choose variant images, and edit the SKU and retail price.
Review Information: Verify that all variants match by viewing the original variant’s information at the bottom of the “configure variants” page. Edit the SKU suffix if needed and review production costs, Artelo shipping, collected shipping, Etsy’s fees, and your profit.
Edit Listing Details: If necessary, edit the listing’s title, description, and tags pulled from the existing listing. Once everything looks correct and the products are connected, publish your listing.
Connecting Listings from the "Stores" Page
Select Store: Go to the Stores page and click on your chosen store.
Connect Artelo Product: Identify a listing that has nothing connected to it. On the right of the listing, click “connect to” an existing product (if you’ve already created a product for it on Artelo) or “new product” to upload design files from scratch.
Create Product Quickly: If you’re creating a new product, name it, add a product type, upload designs, and finalize it. If you use an existing product, search by its name or choose it from the drop-down list.
Match Variants: Choose which variants within your store’s listings match your new product set, or ignore or add a new variant with the red and green add/ignore buttons.
Edit Listing Images: Edit listing images if necessary.
Configure Variants: Manage your variants, choose a shipping option, and add retail prices.
Edit and Review: Review and edit listing details and make sure all changes are correct.
Publish Listing: Once everything is set, publish your listing.
Conclusion
By following these steps, you can successfully connect your new products to existing listings on Etsy or Shopify. This integration allows Artelo to handle the printing, framing, packaging, and shipping orders for these listings, ensuring a seamless process for you and your customers.
